The doctor who became a healer
Dr. Ana Elosegui’s path began as an ophthalmologist in Cuba and led to family medicine in the United States — a constant pursuit of knowledge and growth.
It was her own battle with breast cancer that changed how she saw health. That experience connected her deeply to the value of whole-person care, and turned her from a physician into a true healer.
Facing the growing epidemic of weight-related disease, she chose not just to treat symptoms but to educate and empower her community — through talks, articles and radio programs that have reached thousands. With more than 45 years of experience, she has refined an approach that blends the best of conventional medicine with innovative natural therapies.
Today she leads Axios by example, reminding us that with the right knowledge and tools, each of us has the power to live a full, vibrant life.
