Description
Minoxidil
Mechanism of Action: Minoxidil is a vasodilator that increases blood flow to the hair follicles, revitalizes miniaturized follicles, and prolongs the anagen (growth) phase of the hair cycle. It also opens potassium channels in the scalp, which is thought to support follicular activity and cellular proliferation.
Finasteride
Mechanism of Action: Finasteride is a 5α-reductase inhibitor that blocks the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the androgen primarily responsible for follicular miniaturization in androgenetic alopecia. When applied topically, it reduces scalp DHT levels with minimal systemic absorption.
Clinical Tips
- Apply once daily, preferably in the evening, to allow uninterrupted absorption overnight.
- Ensure the scalp is clean and completely dry before application

- Allow at least 2–4 hours for the serum to fully absorb before washing your hair or lying down.
- Do not rinse or use styling products on the scalp until fully dry.
- Wash hands thoroughly after use to avoid accidental spread to eyes or other sensitive areas.
